生死是一種相對的狀態,有生必然存在著死。社會由家庭組成,幼者出生、長者死亡,生與死成為了社會的循環。生是自然、死也是自然,生死是一件常存於生活周遭的事,自然而然般的日常。人懼怕談論且恐懼死亡,總是遠離與死亡相關的空間,在周圍豎起一道道的邊界,拒絕別人靠近,亦不在乎自己內部的空間環境,殯葬空間逐漸成為都市裡的一個黑盒子。我認為應該打開殯葬空間的邊界,與周遭環境產生關係,轉變其原始封閉的空間性。我的目標是將自身對於生死的觀點空間化,回應現今社會對於殯葬空間的看法。藉由打開殯葬空間的封閉性,創造若有似無的邊界狀態,討論生與死的之間,藉以反轉群眾對於殯葬空間的恐懼感。以台北市信義區寧波同鄉會四明堂墓

園為基地,嘗試將原始斷裂的日常與象山登山步道縫補,把日常活動帶入殯葬空間之中,製造生死的衝突,也化解衝突。重新定義生死之間的界線,使得二者的邊界模糊,生死將會是一種自然而然。
